Dear AAA Members:
Thank you for your vote of confidence in us. We hope we can come up to your expectations and keep our association strong and vibrant.
In return we would like to start our term with an activity that everyone can be involved in. We are planning to hold a Sportsfest on March 14, 2010 at the WMA gym and playground. Since it also falls on WMA Alumni Weekend, we have decided to allow any WMA Alumni who would like to join in the activities be allowed to sign up as screened by Mr. Farmer. The following is a tentative schedule for this activity:
8:00 - 9:00 AM Breakfast
9:00 – 9:30 AM Devotional
9:30 – 11:00 AM Canoeing at Lake Lillian
11:00 AM – 2:30 PM Softball and Volleyball Tournaments
Miscellaneous Relays/Games
(for non-tournament participants)
3:00 - 6:00 PM Basketball Tournament
You may contact any of the following people to sign up for any of the above activities. Teams for the different tournaments will be formed prior to March 14, so please be sure to sign up accordingly. We are looking for donors so that players for the tournament games will not have to pay a fee to join.
Jesse Bautista 863-399-3918
Boyet Magpayo 863-443-0150
Ryan Arguelles 863-452-5648
We are also planning to sell food for lunch. If you are willing to help prepare food we will reimburse the cost of the ingredients you use. Merilyn Teope (863-257-2020) and Merle Correces (863-257-0018) will be coordinating the food sale. They will surely appreciate your help.
Part of the proceeds will go to the missionary we are supporting in the Philippines and some will go to the WMA Sports Fund. Thank you for supporting your association. Come and let us have a fun day together.
Sincerely,
Jesse Bautista
